About us

Steve Place has spent the last 20 years with Portmann in Manchester and latterly with Dodmanread of Stockport which then became Mercedes-Benz Stockport.

Since 1977 he has been a member of the Institute of the Motor Industry and holds the Daimler Chrysler Certificate of excellence, which is a globally recognised service qualification, both gained by exam.

He has attended numerous training and marketing seminars with Mercedes-Benz and also other manufacturers.

For those that know Steve they will recognise his ability to handle his customers with respect and courtesy and that is why he has customers today who he first looked after over 20 years ago.

Gary Jackson started his automotive career in the 1970's in the Hull area and has worked for among others, BMW, Porsche, VW and Audi, Rolls Royce and Mercedes-Benz and has attended many factory training courses.

Gary is only too willing to discuss the problems that your vehicle may have and will strive to repair it first time, whilst exercising the utmost care to your car. Since opening the business in February 2008, we have attracted many new as well as old customers and find that they are telling friends and family who now bring their cars to us as well.
